The room I stayed in was infested with lots of spiders! There were holes in the sheets, tv barely works, bathroom smelled horrible, and the one owner Joanne has a nasty attitude & snoops through your things when you leave your room to go to the store or something. The walls are thin so you can hear everything your neighbors are saying or doing. The room smells like smoke also.
Nothing fancy but i'll be damned if you find a cleaner roomier place for the price.
It's a great place to stay. Quiet, clean, affordable and close to Lake Huron.
I hate it so much here, that I'm praying to god that I get a job offer back in the Detroit area ( and I'm not even religious)

OK so let's start off by taking about the area. Oscoda and Tawas offer NOTHING for entertainment for residents. it's like they never thought about being part of civilization. back to the motel, the decor made it feel like a meth lab, the TV is ungodly bad quality, the outlets are loose, the bed makes me feel like I'm falling off on either side, the walls are paper thin ( doesn't help that my neighbor is old as hell and talks loud), the bathroom is very small. the shower head is the worst I've ever seen and you get a choice of scolding hot or scolding hot. the closet is very tiny and so is the fridge. overall I don't think this room should cost more than $100 a month.
Short drive to the beach. We had a really nice stay. The owners were very friendly! We actually were not expecting it to be as nice as it was.
