Friendly accommodating staff, in keeper and housekeeping. Morning breakfast and afternoon dessert were delicious. Spacious quiet rooms with sounds of the lake to put you in a relaxed mood. Wide, sugar sand beach with chairs, pergola, grill, and fire box seating. Had an awesome time with friends whIle staying the weekend. We all plan to return again soon!
We have loved this place for years! Hubby and I go once a year for a special getaway... Management/ownership has changed. Some upgrades were made, however we liked it better when nobody came to our door except for breakfast delivery!
We stayed one night in August for our anniversary and loved every minute of it. The host is attentive but not overbearing (none of that awkward forced mingling that has kept us away from other B&Bs, though they provide areas where you could chat with other guests if you wanted), and the other staff members were also very friendly. The room was spotlessly clean and comfy with an amazing view of Lake Huron, and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay again!
We had a great time staying a night here. Our room had a hot tub outside. It wasn't as private as I hoped. There's a sidewalk next to the room that leads out to the water from the room upstairs but it didn't really bother us. The evening dessert was really good (homemade chocolate covered peanut butter balls) and breakfast was was cinnamon French toast and sausage. It was the best French toast I've ever had. Lol. Bathroom shower had multiple heads and a heated floor. Will definitely be back to try another room.
