Good for a quick lunch. Food has been a bit too salty lately.
In todays world, thousands of dollars can be lost by not being tech savvy, or by being tech ignorant. That said, the food is consistently good and the products are fresh. Rob does take pride in providing good BBQ, and he and his staff have always been friendly.
Rob, my dad, cooks and makes the best food in the world!! He's the hardest worker that I know and makes amazing BBQ! The food here is fenaminal. Having said that there is a female who works here who likes to call herself a Manger and an owner, but is hands down the most unprofessional girl that I have ever met or worked for in my entire life (she's not much older then me btw). She doesn't ever have the wait staff schedule out on time, it's usually 2-3 days late and also rarely has payroll checks handed out on time. I feel very bad for anyone who is currently working for her or will be working for her in the future. She plays favorites and has one of the highest turnover rates for employees in Michigan. Aside from being very unprofessional, she is also very rude to customers that she doesn't like, usually basing this off of how someone looks or talks or walks, and often goes into the kitchen to talk badly about these customers whom she has a "problem" with. I will not even step foot in the building while she is there, although when she is scheduled (by her own doing) to be there she is often late because she had a hard time getting out of bed, whether it be morning, afternoon, or evening.
Great food regardless of the meal. Their omelettes are phenomenal. Get the lunch buffet and simply eat 20 bowls of their pepper jack soup, or their sandwiches are the best around. Can't go wrong.
the grinders are always good. On this visit, we tried the Detroit style pizza. It had a different consistency of crust, and was very good.

Rob, you need to step up and take control of your website!!! google search leads you to the previous owners website, even when you search Rob's Famous BBQ in Oscoda MI. It's frustrating to have to search multiple queries to find your menu. Imagine, all those valuable tourists looking at your info and at 1 pm on Sunday google says your closed. (because it does, and you are open)
