I live in oscoda year round and eat here often. During tourist season the service can be lacking due to the sheer volume of snobby city folks who dont understand how up north works. Sure you sometimes have to wait a bit. However the food is great and staff does the best they can with unruly idiots.
First visit with a lasting impression. Very good food and service. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling in the Oscoda area.
G's Pizzeria and Deli has been serving up good food and drinks for a long time here in Oscoda. The pizza is fresh, great salads, sandwiches, soups and even dessert. Thursday is wing night if you like 50 cent wings.
Delicious food for lunch! Lots of options, we had the club sandwich and the BBQ chicken pocket pizza and the cinnamon spears as a side. Brenda our waitress was phenomenal, courteous, responsive and warm. Definitely would come back! Highly recommend!
The wait staff was short staffed due to call offs so we waited longer than normal for our food. This isn't a normal occurance so I'll assume without being short staffed our wait would have been shorter. Our waiter was amazing. She was waiting on more tables than normal and still provided excellent service. She never rushed us while ordering or eating. The pizza was delicious. I was a bit disappointed we didn't have any leftovers to take home but it was just that good. Their ranch is really good. We got a bottle of it to take home. If we didn't have a long wait for our food, I would have undoubtly given them 5 stars.
